Best short hikes and footwear advice ASAP please!

Hi,

We plan to do some short easy hikes in Arches. Thought of DoubleArch, Delicate Arch and maybe landscape arch or Skyline Arch. Any advice on these please? Which one first? Which is less crowded in June? If any! ;-)

Also can I walk them in my Reebok trainers?

Thanks so much am just packing now!!!

Yes, reebok trainers will be fine.

You should be able to do all of those hikes in a one day visit. I personally would do them as you came to them from the Windows section (double arch), to Landscape arch at the end, maybe saving Delicate Arch for the sunset view.

PS. There is nowhere to get food or drink in the park. Bring a picnic lunch and plenty of water and salty snacks with you so you don't need to drive all the way out of the park for them.

Delicate Arch is not a short, easy hike. "The trail to see Delicate Arch up close and personal is 3 miles (4.8 km) roundtrip and climbs 480 feet (146m)"

Reebok trainers are fine. Delicate Arch is NOT a short or easy hike. Landscape Arch, Double Arch, the Windows, Broken Arch and Sand Dune Arch are all easy hikes, but still be sure to have sun protection and plenty of water. Also, as mentioned, there are no services on the Park Road, so bring lunch and snacks.

Arches is jammed in the summer. Be sure to get to the Park entrance very early in the morning as lines are often very long and slow to move. The earlier you arrive, the more quickly you will enter and the more solitude you may find on the trails. Enjoy!
