Hi it will involve a few changes but Belfast to enniskillen to Cavan to Longford. Or Belfast -Dublin then longford. Either way it will be a pain. Good luck though

The fastest way to do this journey is via Cavan.

There's a direct Ulsterbus Goldline coach from Belfast Europa Buscentre at 09.10 Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, arriving into Cavan Bus Stn. at 11.55.

Onward connecting Bus Éireann coach departs Cavan Bus Stn. at 12.00 (will display "Galway" on front). Arrives at Longford Railway Station at 13.00

Route 23 (will display "Sligo" on front departs Longford Railway Station at 13:16 reaching Newtownforbes at 13:20.

It should be possible to purchase a through Belfast - Longford ticket.

On Fridays and Sundays there's an evening option on this route departing Belfast at 15:45. arriving Newtownforbes 21.07.

In the return direction depart Newtownforbes 14.40 Mon-Sat inclusive, change at Longford, Cavan and Monaghan to arrive into Belfast at 19:45.

There are shop and toilet facilities at Longford, Cavan and Monaghan stations.

Outside of these times via Dublin (as suggested) is best.
