1. Re: trip for kanyakumari

Hi,

Kanyakumari needs an afternoon ( to enjoy boating to Vivekanda Rock, Enjoy the sunset and shopping) and morning ( to enjoy the sunrise).

Rameshwarm- If you are a hind devotee one can spend some time in temple.

Then opt for a Jeep/ Minibus drive to Dhanushkodi beach - around 3 hrs.(If you are going by your own 4 wheel drive vehicle- you can make it more enjoyable with out time constraints)

If you are interested you can spend some time (1 to 2 hrs) on lonley beaches near Rameshwram- Near Vivekanda centre on the way to Pamban bridge from Rameshawram.

All together you need one and a half day (up to 2 days- depending on your interest)to cover Rameshwram.( 1N and 2 D )

Hi

You can also think about overnight journey by train from Kanyakumari to Rameshwaram, which would be saving time and cost effective.
