Which area to stay?

Hi Guys

We are off on our first trip to Mexico in May and have heard that you can email the hotel to let them know which area of the hotel you would like to stay in.

We are a lesbian couple and do not want anywhere too noisy but not too far away from things at the hotel. We have a junior suite booked.

Any opinions, advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

T

Hi T

Are you talking about EPM as if so you have made a good choice as it is a great resort and is gay friendly?

What room type have you booked - EC or Non-EC as this will help with the building recommendation? Please note that wherever you are you are not far from anything

Yes we are going to EPM and from the forum it sounds great.

Have looked at your photos and review and cannot wait now.

Is there a specific block you would reccommend that won't be too noisy and would have a good view.

Is it worth emailing the GM as you did and state thats what we are after? From your pics definitely want to be spa or pool facing.

Also we are in a non EC standard suite.

Hi again

I would opt for building #2 as it is nice and quiet but still central

Best e_mail for requests is:

I really don't think it makes much of a difference as all non-ec blocks have good pool\spa views.

Blocks 7,6,1 and 5 (in that order) will have less walking distance but the early evening entertainment will be louder as it's closer to the main area.

Another thing to consider is that blocks 7,6,5, will get less sun in the morning and more in the afternoon. The opposite will be true for #1 and 2. 3 and 4 will not get much direct sun. Just something to consider if you like to hang on your balcony.
