Hi

Lipa noi pier is opposite side of bophut the best way is by taxi or pre arrange taxi wirh either www.mrsamui.webnode.com/ www.samuiislandexplorer.com/

I do hope you know (so many people confused about this ) that air Asia fly to mainland Surat Thani NOT to (lipa noi pier )koh samui. From Surat Thani airport is approximately 1 1/2 hours by bus and 1 1/2 hours by ferry to Koh Samui. Air Asia DOES NOT fly direct to koh Samui. Apologies if you're already know.

Cheers,

No worries :) just assumed you're flying to Surat Thani

The bus from Nakon Si Thammarat airport will be pretty the same length of time any way.

Happy holiday :)

Hi, I am planing a trip in october this year to koh samui along with my wife and daughter.... I have already booked my international travel in and out of bangkok. Incidentally I am also staying in Bophut area.

It would really help if you could share ur experience of the Bangok - koh samui travel...

A few doubts if you could clarify would help immensely.

- which company operates the ferry for air asia?

- is there a weight limit on the baggage per person on the ferry?

- from lipa noi pier did you prebook a taxi to bophut? How much isthe fare??

Any ideas if Nok Air - lompraya ferry could be better...

Regards,

Kaustubh

@kaushsbh11

Air Asia use Raja ferry that's why you have to go Lipa noi pier as all of raja ferry disembark at this pier.

There are no limits on language to take on ferry

Nok airs offers the same deals as air Asia.

You can go with lomprayah speed boat provide you are arrive on time for their schedule. The speed boat only run in particular time unlike the ferry run hourly until 19.00hours.

9. Re: Airasia via Lipa Noi pier

Hi

I am going the same direction with an Air Asia combo ticket in August :

Lipa Noi Pier - Raja Ferry - Donsak Pier - Bus - Surt Thani Airport - flight to Bangkok DMK.

Any input if this combo ticket is well organized or is it a hustle to catch ferry/bus/plane ?

What about the safety of the luggage on board and on bus ?

Thanks

I have the same question as Nir Z.... I am in Koh Samui right now and bought the ferry/bus/plane combo tix back to Bangkok with Air Asia. I just realized all I have is my confirmation email (which mentions all three parts). Does anyone know if anything else is needed (ie paper tickets)? Is it pretty obvious at the piers how to use this combo ticket? Any advice is welcome, we go on Saturday, 13 July! Thanks.
