Where to stay in the Sunshine Coast

A few of my friends and I have booked to go to the Sunshine Coast for Easter and wanted to know what area to stay in. We like to shop and sunbake during the day and go out in the evening to a bar/club. Our ages range from mid to late 20's. thanks!

If you like nightlife then noosa is your best bet.

Noosa is a good prospect, also have a look at Mooloolaba as there are several bar/clubs there as well and a beautiful beach.

im a big fan of mooloolaba. noosa is good as well but find the vibe not as good. great beach at mooloolaba and just as many restaurants and bars as noosa. youre also a fair bit closer to the airport.

I'd go with Mooloolaba. Its central on the coast. You can do all the things you want to easily and still only 20 - 25 min drive to Noosa if you want to try out the restaurants there.

Mooloolaba/ Alex Headlands beaches are great.

Collum Beach is also great, nice restaurants etc too but quiet in terms of nightlife.

Mooloolaba along the esplanade, Alex headland, are good options very close to Maroochydore where the sunshine plaza is located. This is a huge shopping centre.

Cotton tree has some nice accommodation choices and access to the beach and maroochy river and some accommodation here is walking distance to the sunshine plaza / big top shopping centre.

Coolum Beach is a great spot to stay, accommodation overlooking the beach, plenty of boutique shops, restaurants and cafes all walking distance and this is midway between Noosa and Maroochydore. 20 min by road to either. Buses connect you with all areas. There is also a bus from the airport every hour.

If you stay in Mooloolaba you will be walking distance to some night life.

Another vote for Mooloolaba. Sounds like what you are after.
