Air Conditioning in vacation rental

We will be spending 8 days in Panama next month and are looking at a vacation rental for 5 days in San Carlos. The place has a/c in bedrooms only. Is that sufficient for this area at this time of the year? Should I rather look for a place with full central a/c?

There really aren't many with full central a/c. Each room has what is called a "split", separate air conditioner unit in each room. Depends on if the house is an older place, it may be very hot, especially when cooking. Temps could reach 95 degrees, and for that, especially where you are coming from, it may be too hot for you.

Many rentals also have outside kitchens,. and most people spend the majority of their time outside on patios.
