are pets allowed on any beach near to st trop and frejus
The beaches allowing dogs tends to change but as far as i can tell dogs are still allowed on the following beaches
Bandol - plage de galets
Ste Maxime - plage de la Garonnette and plage des Éléphants
Otherwise contact the mairies/town halls for any changes
Most beaches do not allow dogs, with some exceptions for guide dogs on a leash.
In your area of interest, that's the case of Agay, St Raphael, Frejus, St Aygulf, Les Issambres and even the vast beaches of St Tropez (Plage des Canoubiers, Plage des Salins, Plage de la Moutte, Pampelonne, etc...).
However, some have "dog friendly" promenades next to the beach with sections of grass and even enclosed dog "bathrooms" (St Raphael's western beaches, in particular - you'll see many dogs there, all on leash - some patiently await by the prom while their humans dip in the sea).
La Garonnette by the Port des Issambres currently allows dogs on a leash, as does Les Elephants (at least, the section by the rocks). I'm not sure that they allows them still during the middle of summer when the beaches are busiest.
Where exactly are the dog friendly promenades in St Raphael? I would be really grateful for the help.Edited: 9:29 am, May 19, 2014
I think the beach at St Aygulf is also dog friendly, but on the the bit where the Argens river enters the sea.
