I’m afraid that you may well have to order one from Corralejo you do not tend to see them hanging around and not at night time.

Not sure how easy you will find it for one nights accommodation in the village most places are for one week and I believe the Oliastur apartments are now 2 or 3 nights minimum stay.

Stunning sunsets in El Cotillo go for walk along the lagoons or a meal in Azzurro .

Sunrise view in Corralejo is also stunning.

A scooter rented for a couple of days might be worth looking at.

You can book taxis online in advance. Normally it isn't worth the bother but in this case it might be good. Google for corralejo taxi.

Thank you.Yes we are staying in Corralejo so do get up to see sunrise...

We fancied staying in Cotillo for the day then to see the sunset...

I read somewhere you can have a meal and some restaurants offer a room for the night....Not sure if anybody knows of anywhere...?

Hi sissy022

Yes you can take the no3 to Rosario and then the no 7 to El Cotillo (this departs at 10.00am) or you can go there via Corralejo.

It is 50k (45 minutes) by car so I would allow 1.5 to 2.5 by bus depending on which route you take.

Quite a trek from Caleta to El Cotillo and back on a bus, that would need some planning. But that's easy because the bus website is in English: http://www.tiadhe.com/en/ If you're going to make good use of the buses it's worth getting a "bono" from the driver; details on the website.

The N°7 is very infrequent. For the other route you'll need to take the N°3 to Puerto; change in the bus station to the N°6, and get off +/- 40 minutes later in Corralejo, at the top of the strip (you'll see the water park just before the stop); cross the road and get the N°8 to El Cotillo just past the hour, getting off at the bus station if you want the surfing beach.
