Welcome to the Trip Advisor Jamaica forums! There are plenty of beach towels to go around. You can take as many towels as you need, no towel card system in place at Sandals Whitehouse.

The only thing is when you are finished with your beach towels take them off your beach or pool lounger and put them in the used towel bin. There are fresh towels available near these bins and you are free to take more as needed. Some guests bring their own for the purpose of more clearly identifying their spot (as all towels basically look alike), or if you are particular and prefer very plush towels you are free to bring your own.

Enjoy your stay at Sandals Whitehouse and your time in Jamaica!

Plenty of towels for beach and pools. I always bring a beach towel on excursions or snorkeling.

We did the horseback riding excursion and took Sandals beach towels with us and just returned them to the bin by the pool when we got back.

Also, we made it a habit of grabbing 2 new towels late in the afternoon and took them back to our room with us so that we had fresh towels to use for saving our seats at the pool or beach the next morning. On some days the new towels didn't show up until after 9am and we were usually at the pool or ocean by 8:15am. We waited until late afternoon to get those towels so that we were sure that everyone who actually needed a towel that day got one. Most people leave the pool in late afternoon to get ready for dinner anyway.

It's also a good idea to not just use the towels to save your seat. Put a beach bag or flip flops or something on there as well. People sometimes leave towels on their chairs with no plan on returning and that takes up a chair that could be used by someone else. Security was never an issue for us there either. We totally felt ok with leaving our belongings for extended periods of time in the pool, beach, etc. and all was ok. I felt that it was a different type of crowd at SWH...in a good way.
