We have gone out twice with Capt Omar of Caribbean outfitters (deep sea). About $550 for 4 hours but no luck either time. Will be going out Tuesday with Captain Marcos of Light Tackle Paradise who fishes light tackle in the Fajardo bay. We are told lots more action with Tarpon Bonefish Permit etc...Can let you know after Tuesday how it went. Cost is $450 for 4 hrs. He has a smaller boat for $350 but it is currently out for maint.

Great success with fishing. Went out with Capt Marcos' other captain Juan who was excellent. He also is the author photographer and publisher of Pescador magazine. Top notch equipment, and boat would be comfortable for 2-4 fishing. Fished off the coast of Fajardo pretty much across from the ferry landing where the Fajardo river comes in. Hooked Tarpon (which got away), Lady fish which put on a great fight and was released and came home with a jack, 2 varieties of snapper, and yellow tail. Capt Juan even cleaned and filleted the fish for us. Definitley a great afternoon out. (Capt Juan says the best time to catch Tarpon is after a heavy rain which we have not had here in awhile) They are highly recommended and we'll try to get a review with some photos/videos posted on here along with an article on our blog which we can link once it's written. Oh bring a cooler if you want to take any fish back with you.
