France Booster Rabies vaccination

My dog has had the 3 year Norbivac rabies vaccination in 2016 could anyone tell me if you need the dog to have a rabies booster vaccination each year travelling to south of france in september

I believe it's every year for France (three years for Ireland) but check with your vet or even DEFRA.

If you and your dog live in the UK, then only 3 yr boosters are required (under PETS rules)

If you live in France, where Rabies is endemic, different recommendations apply.

Your dog doesn't need the Rabies treatment to visit France until 2019 (three years from the initial treatment)

If you have the next treatment in France, or any other country except the UK, your dog will probably get a one or two year stamp in the Pet Passport as very few French Vets give a three year treatment.
