Anyone tried Cabeau Evolution pillow?

Hi,

I'm looking to replace my travel pillow ahead of a long haul flight. Anyone tried this one? http://www.cabeau.com/

It's about $40 in Australia - so I don't want to buy it if it is no better than a regular U shaped pillow (although it does have the bonus of folding up pretty small).

Cheers.

Definitely worth getting!

I've never been able to sleep during a flight. The most I get is 15-30min snooze. Tried a regular inflatable neck pillow but it didn't work.

I'll swear by the Evolution pillow. Managed to get couple hours of sleep the first time I tried it during a 13hr flight early this week.

Hi, how did you get on with the pillow?

Hi,

I'm also surprised that a product which seems to be so popular in US, has practically no stockist in UK.

After extensive research I found only one company which appeared to have stocks and sell to a UK customer:

No idea about this company. Just worried about spending 38 quid. Looks like based in Germany but has a UK postal address.

You can order from Cabeau through e-bay but be prepared to pay a hefty postage and import duty.

Ouch! For that money think I'll make do with a small pillow:) but thank you for the information.

Or you could try this cheaper alternative:

I haven't tried the evolution pillow but it looks no different to a regular one...just a slightly more contoured shape. The travel comfort pillow (http://www.travelcomfort.com.au/) gets rave reviews from people who have trouble sleeping on planes.

My very kind next-door neighbour has offered to lend me a neck cushion which massages! Can hardly wait to get on the plane now:)

This is the only pillow that keeps your head from falling to the side. I am able to sleep upright without reclining the seat when using this pillow. It kind of feels like an inflatable neck brace since your head is essentially immobilized when using it and the pillow is secured with a buckle in the front. Still, very comfortable and it packs to about the size of a soda can. I'm not sure how long it will last as I have only used it five times. The air valve could be improved. It's the kind you find on cheap inflatable pool toys. Overall, this one of the better inflatable pillows out there.
