Where/How can I get support/answer regarding Everytrail?

Tripadvisor has acquired Everytrail.com some time ago and their facebook app is evaluated as unsafe by my Firefox browser, there is non existent support on Everytrail.com, so I have posted a question on Everytrail facebook wall as well as Tripadvisor facebook wall, but WITHOUT ANY ANSWER from you after almost 5 days thereafter! CAN I GET SOME SUPPORT HERE AT LAST?!

When I click on the 'contact us' tab it redirects to a page of another company found here: www.globalmotion.com/about_contact.html

Have you tried e-mailing Global Motion?

Hi RastoHa;

You are correct. TripAdvisor, Inc. owns EveryTrail however, each web site is operated separately. Posting on this site about a sister site will most likely be unsuccessful.

Hello, thanks for the answers. I haven't tried e-mailing to Global Motion, I will try.

But also, Tripadvisor as a sister site belonging to the same owner (I mean, you are co-workers), would you be so nice and send my following question "as a colleaque to colleague" to someone responsible at Everytrail com? Because based on multiple "symptoms", there is something going wrong in Everytrail. Here is the question, which I posted to their facebook timeline:

"Hello, is Everytrail a dead project after beeing acquired by Tripadvisor? I ask, because your last post here was in mid 2012, last post on your blog http://blog.everytrail.com/ was on January 2012, your link to a forum http://www.everytrail.com/forum/ is a BLANK PAGE! and even though people still use your web http://www.everytrail.com/ regularly, the activity feed is full of spam (see http://prntscr.com/2irtp9 ) and clearly not administered at all and your Facebook app can not be used, because is considered as unsafe by my browser (see http://prntscr.com/2irqbx ). Thanks for your answer."

In case you didn't know, we're members like you and not TA Staff. It sounds like you're doing all you can. I suspect you've already seen this email address but if not, you could email them: support@everytrail.com There's also a method to report a FB app - see this link (How do I report an app?):

sorry for my late answer, I was in an area without internet coverage for a couple of days.

Actually I thought that you are a TA Staff. ;) Sorry for that. I haven't seen the email address "support@everytrail.com" anywhere on the Everytrail website. Could you please direct me to where on their website I can find it? Just curious, because I am far from being an IT noob and I think, I have checked their site thoroughly in an effort to find some email address. Thanks.

I was using Firefox 24 on the day I wrote my post, but to avoid confusion, I upgraded to latest - v. 26 and I still get the "not safe" alarm/message.

Anyway, thanks to all of you for the support here and as this is really not an Everytrail forum (and their is non-functional), I will try to send them an email to the mentioned email address. If I get any answer from them other than autoreply from a bot, it would by fine and I will bother you here no more, but if not, you will have me here again. :)

It would appear to be a simple case of forgetting to renew their security certificate

www.everytrail.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on 08/08/2013 00:59. The current time is 23/01/2014 16:06. (Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)

It is something that should take five minutes to fix and not five months, are they reading their emails or out taking a hike?
