Most airports only allow bags to weigh maximum 32 kg due to health reasons.

Which airline? Whichever it is you will not be allowed to check a bag weighing more than 32kg but if the airline doesn't allow pooling you will only be allowed one allowance if you take one bag.

Re. Post 5 - apologies for typo. Should be 'of 23kgs' NOT 'if 23kgs'.

Well it depends on which airline and which route, neither of which Beryl G has been back to tell us.

Some airlines accept 32kg if you're flying business class, others accept it as pooled baggage, still others if you pay excess baggage charges, a few will even allow it in economy, and lots won't accept it at all.

Most British airlines have a max of 20kg per passenger (BA is the main exception) and most of them allow pooling. I know that easyJet will allow 32kg in one bag as long as both passengers have booked a hold bag.
