Cheapoair is a rip off

After buying two flights to Europe the booking numbers say there is no itinerary. The person selling the tickets said get seat assignments and when I asked for seat assignments he said the free ones were full and we would have to pay $14.95 per assignment. NEVER NEVER book through Cheapoair....NEVER.....rip off RIP OFF!

Which airline was it with and why didn't you go directly thru the airline?

If you are $14.95 per person worse off, then consider yourself incredibly lucky. You've just had a very inexpensive lesson in what goes wrong when you don't do any research *before* you buy. There are hundreds of posts on here from people who've lost far more money than you with Cheapo.

So, your lesson is not just to avoid Cheapo. It's to research other companies and stop handing over money because they use the word "cheap". And book directly with the airlines, where all the fees and charges are listed up front.

After many hours of work Air France did have the booking....and assigned seats at no cost, plus informed us that we they can only get seat assignments from the US to Europe but not within Europe....I so will book with airlines from now on....a lesson learned the hard way!

Hi

third party brookers are for the most part not rip offs and they do have a place and value at certain times

you learned what i tell everyone once you have bought thru a third party and have your confirmation numbers from then on deal directly with the airline you are flying on. sign up for any frequent flyer clubs they may have and for alerts and always check your flights every month and then every week when close to departure and don't go to the airport without checking on line the day before and morning off flight may save you some greif if there is any last minute problems
