Hi,

In addition to #1. since there is currently no non-stop SEA-SYD service, tnis means you'll first have to fly to a gateway city -- most likely LAX, SFO, HNL among others - where you can then connect with a non-stop to SYD flight.

The reason I note this is that it is no uncommon for you to have to travel on a smaller (smaller being relative) aircraft from SEA to that gateway city, and sometimes the cabins are not the same.. International long-haul fleet tends to be the "nicer" aircraft in a carriers fleet.
