Lady's cosmetics and the TSA - esp blush.

Am travelling to the US soon and taking a few small gifts on behalf of friends for a friend there.

How is blush categorised? does it have to go in the plastic bag? - (the stuff they apply with a brush)

I have checked TSA website but cannot see anything that really helps.

Reason for the question is I am attempting to travel with carry on only.

If it is not a liquid or gel, meaning you don't squeeze it out of a tube or are able to pour it, it doesn't have to go in the liquids bag.

Carry-on only to the USA...I am very impressed!!! it doesn't sound as if it has to go in the plastic bag as it is not liquid/gel.

"Carry-on only to the USA.."

I even have a conforming piece of luggage size wise too. However, it will be mildly uncomfortable rocking up to Sydney airport late October wearing my "for the USA clothes and jacket"

Coming home will be a different matter I suspect - maybe an extra cardboard box with cheap clothes in it.
