We recently flew on a 777 from Gatwick to HCMC and back from Hanoi to Gatwick via Frankfurt. Planes had video screens but they did nor work.

Customer service is not part of this airlines vocabulary.

On the way back plane went "tec" in Frankfurt and leg to Gatwick cancelled.

After 9 hour delay we were flown back to Heathrow and abandoned there.

Had to make our own arrangements to get back to Gatwick to pick up our car at a cost of £85-00, to date Vietnam Airlines have not responded to any correspondence requesting repayment.

Avoid this airline if possible.

Vietnam Airlines is a cost effective way of getting to and from Asia and Europe, but given the cost involved if you go in expecting service and good entertainment best look elsewhere.

There fares are very very good, but the overall product is distinctly lacking.
