When drink service started the stewards brought the cart right up beside me on the aisle which was right behind the wing. They left the cart there while they served people behind and front of our row. They stayed there about thirty minutes. It is strange that they served everyone behind and in front of us and we were last although we weren't in the back of the plane. Every time the steward turned around the hem of his sports coat brushed against me. Finally, I asked him to move forward about a foot as I was getting claustrophobic. Well, he didn't. Later, when they returned they came back to the exact same place. After twenty minutes of being brushed up against I broke down and had a panic attack. The steward claimed he wasn't touching me when my husband asked him to move; no apology, whatsoever. (Keep in mind that I'm hyperventilating and sobbing.) He did nothing to aide while a women in front of me tried to calm me down.
The third time I saw them coming, I arranged to sit in the middle, just in case. THEY CAME BACK TO THE SAME EXACT LOACATION! They could have positioned the cart between the seats but they came three times next to my seat. I felt like the steward was showing me who was the boss. What an unhappy employee who hates his job. He has obviously been with the company many years and has lost sight of why he has a job. I was just happy to get off the plane. I'll think twice about another Air Tran flight.
