Boeing 737-800 seating

Just came back from Pathos Cyprus. Was asked if I would like a window seat. Said yes please and was allocated seat 11A. only to discover there is no window at all for that row on the left side of the aeroplane although there is one on the right. Anyone know why a window is blanked out on row 11

It's usually where the cables and wiring run down.

That makes sense except there must be cables and wiring all over the cabin area presumably in trunking running down between the windows. Why would it need to be run just exactly where the window space is. Thanks for guessing anyway

Not guessing, just repeating what the aircraft expert on HT says

"Windows are missing where wiring and air conditioning ducting is routed"

Row 9 on the ex FCA 767s are the same. As far as I know all aircraft have some windows missing because of it.

Missing windows are mostly due to air conitioning ducts. You can often hear the noise when the a/c turns on at start up.
