Terminal transfers at Heathrow

Hi

I arrive at T3, travelling with Singapore Airlines next month. My next flight is to Edinburgh with BA. Can anyone tell me how I get to T5?

Thanks for the help - it looks like the underground will be my best bet. I will have to collect my luggage before transferring to T5.

If you are on two tickets, collect your luggage and catch the Heathrow Express (not the underground). If you are on one however, with luggage check through to EDI, then just follow the Connections purple signs: you'll be directed to a bus shuttle, direct to T5. About 10 minutes ride.

Thanks for all the info - why should I not use the underground?

The HEX is right underneath T3, the Underground isn't.

Plus the HEX is free within LHR. I don't think the Tube is (unless you have an Oyster card).

Arrived at Heathrow this morning at 6am and I was amazed that there was no queue at immigration! Used the Heathrow Express train from Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 - no charge and very easy even with a large suitcase.
