We used vayama to book flights to Germany. We went back to the site to add a lap-child seat for my granddaughter. Initially we were told we had to call the airline to do so, but after several frustrating calls vayama booked her a ticket costing $260. She did not show under our booking, and checking the ticket number with the airlines showed a cancelled ticket. More frustrating calls! I was finally sent email that she was under the first name Jetson and from Fargo airport. Not even close to right. More phone calls. We were assured this was the "routine" way to add a lap child. And that we would have no problems.
On departure, very difficult time getting her checked in. Swiss air agents had to create a new booking for her which took about an hour to straighten out. They were very apologetic, kept saying the original booking was done wrong.
The same thing happened with United on our return flight.!!
Will never use vayama again!
