Staying at Heathrow

I need to stay at Heathrow to travel from terminal 3 early morning flight. It would appear to get to terminal you need to use the Hoppa Bus service - anyone know if you can book these online ahead of time? Thinking of using IBIS Heathrow

You can't book the Hoppa ahead of time. It is a bus that runs to a schedule, two or three and hour. The Ibis might have the schedule on its website. They do start running quite early.

Why not stay at the Yotel, right in the airport? www.yotel.com

No need to pay for a shuttle, just take the free Heathrow Express train from Terminal 4 to Terminal 3.

No need to book Hoppa-it has fixed times to pick up/drop off at all the hotels and there will be a timing notice in reception and as steve says-the hotel can advise you.

Whoops WV was faster on the submit button.

As a side issue, I like Ibis Heathrow - good price and it's quiet. I'm staying with them again later this year, too.

One problem from my previous stay - they have a 24 hour menu but when I tried to order a sandwich and juice for breakfast at around 3am they said all they had was pizza so I had a pizza for breakfast. Later on I thought, hey wait a minute - that was supposed to be a 24 hour menu!!

Maybe the 24 hour menu only applied to selected items (like pizza)?

The menu was available for you to read 24 hours a day! ;-)
