When our connecting flight to Washington DC was missed do to United Airlines mechanical failure, our flight to Ethiopia was missed. We had booked through cheapair.com and found that it was a big mistake. They outsource their phones and I talked to people who didn't care about our problem and said it was not their problem. We had to purchase new tickets directly from Ethiopia Airlines for another flight in order to get there. So we paid for the flight twice and are trying to get a refund but it does not look promising. I will never use cheapair.com again. I would rather pay more for better customer service. In the end we paid a lot more using this company than we would have paid by booking directly with the airlines.
