Knackered, Lost, Marooned

No more complaints, I will call it a day.

But being my own person I will have the last say.

KLM was the airline I was happy to choose.

This was the fifth time so what could I lose.

Returning from Chicago went according to plan.

But everything went downhill went we reached Amsterdam.

Newcastle was next but I did not get there.

So you sent me to Scotland, what did you care.

Arriving at Edinburgh it was cold and very wet.

So where was our taxi, it hadn't arrived yet.

After waiting for one hour a taxi drove in.

With KLM this is normal he said with a grin.

It took me over three hours but I got home at last.

So to KLM airlines you are part of my past.

With more holidays on the horizon I've only one thing to say.

I'm very pleased to tell you, I have booked with BA.

So tell us ET, to whom did you complain?

When stood left in Turnhouse in cold and in rain.

KL is no better or worse than the rest,

But no doubt you feel better having unburdened your chest!

Hi E/T,

A nice piece of spontaneous verse there old chap

Very commendable indeed..I think that the Taxi

Driver explained the overall situation to a "T"

[Not the one that you would have been late for.]

All the luck in the world to you with your plans

NWF in Ausralia and YOU Would know where that is

Why not come on down sometime?.

Ah ha Mfuwe,

But when you've had a bad time,

It's always better to tell it in rhyme,

KLM may not be the worst,

But English Tourist has told us in verse

That he/she will not use them again,

And we shoud just symapthise with them

Ah, scudder my chum,

I am glad that you have come,

to the Forum to tell it all straight,

But whatever the pain, from delays to the plane,

by not flying Dutchman again,

whether in smart verse or in plain,

You are consigning the matter to fate.

One is simply cutting off one's nose

Despite the most elegant of prose

by leaving room for the b****r that does.
