Only selected flights are being sold. From the WSJ article:

"And so JetBlue Airways Corp. has begun posting unsold seats on eBay for auction. JetBlue says the three-day auction began Sunday evening and will end Wednesday, for travel leaving Friday and returning Sunday. If you’re looking for a place to go this weekend, this may be a cheap way to do it. There are also seven-day auctions for other itineraries. The destinations from New York-Kennedy include some hotspots: Chicago, Las Vegas, Nassau, Oakland, Orlando, Raleigh/Durham, San Diego, San Juan and Tampa. From Newark, N.J., seats are offered to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Orlando."

Very interesting. I did see it yesterday and I was like...plane tickets on eBay??? Very weird, but if the person who gets the ticket gets it for cheap...they are really lucky!
