My daughter flew Qantas Heathrow to Wellington via Sydney 8 days ago.When she checked in the flight was overbooked(surprising no?) so she was asked if she would delay her flight and catch same one next day.
Her inconvenience was somewhat made up for a fully paid night and meals at the Hilton.
Plus a voucher that could be exchanged for 600 Pounds worth of fares ,or for 450 Pounds cash!
Now that was a very good way of handling this issue.
Congratulations to Qantas for their customer handling skills.
