Toronto to Doha via Boston

Flying on Air Canada from Toronto to Boston arriving at Terminal B at 19.52. Catching the next Flight (Qatar Airways) from Terminal E at 22.59 to Doha. Both flights booked under same PNR (under one ticket issued by Qatar Airways)

Do I have to go through US Immigration in Boston and collect the baggage and re-check them again ?

No you preclear immigration in Toronto so you arrive in Boston as a domestic passenger.

No need to collect your bags just head for the next gate.

I have done this flight Toronto to Doha via a US city, Philadelphia in my case, a couple of times. You go through US pre-clearance in Toronto and that is it. Your bags go directly.
