25 is right in front of the washrooms, I would skip that if for no other reason that you might get some odor from them. Maybe you could grab row 23. The farther back in the aircraft you are the longer the in-flight service will take getting to you. Also better to be off the plane quickly and onto Immigration and Customs rather than being in the back of that lineup. As you suggested, 28 would be good also.
Definitely not row 25. Right in front of the bathrooms and you'll have people congregating around you. Row 28 is fine for E-, and as yvr1 says row 23 (very first row of E-) would be good too.

Thank you! I think 23 is taken up. We don't want to pay more for upgraded seats. Sounds like 28 is best.
I agree with USBT and yvr but here is my 2 cents. I love the bulkhead seats which most elite flyers will get access to but if one is a light sleeper then there is a lot of activity going on in the galley which can get noisy at meal service -- specially if you want to sleep longer when the pre-arrival service starts. If that is not an issue then row 28 would be fine
Hey everyone thanks. I still haven't picked my seat. Question though, how do I know which 787? Looks like there are two versions.

It will be in your reservation. But DEN-LHR is slated to be flown by the -8.
Do you mean 787-800? I saw that, but when I look at the seat plans on flight guru, there are 2 versions.
On seatguru, you can plug in your flight number and travel date, and it will pull up the correct version. Or just go to your itinerary on UA's webpage and choose the "select seats" option, and it will show you the seatmap.

No, there is one configuration for the 787-8 and one for the 797-9. DEN-LHR is on the 787-8.

If I were you I'd select seats now. You can always change them later if there is availability. Not choosing now means you'll have less choice later, possibly none or none together.
