Baby Bassinets on non-bulkhead seats on Saudi Airlines 787

I am travelling with Saudi Airlines on a 787 and 777 and requested a baby bassinet for my 4 months old but they have allocated a non-bulkhead seat which looks like a normal economy seat on both seatmap and seatguru - Is it possible to have baby bassinet on a non-bulkhead seat ? I rang saudi customer services a couple of times but they are confirming that my seat is suitable for baby bassinet and it will be provided although it is not a bulkhead seat.

Any one got any experience ?

Thanks,

How would they fix a bassinet unless there is a wall to attach it to?

You're right. None of these appear to be bassinet seats. There are several versions of the 777, and on a couple of them, row 47 is the exit row.

Look at the seatmaps on the airline's webpage.

There are no bassinet seats shown on the 787.

On the 777-268 high density, bassinet seats are rows 30 & 50.

On the 777-268 sleeper configuration, they're rows 30 & 39.

On 777-368ER none shown.

It's difficult to U derstand what the airline is telling you, as that's not what their own seatmaps show.

Any feedback on this post? We are travelling with Saudia and we have the same problem. Please reply we are in-need for an advice. Also, do you think the bassinet will fit a 9 months old baby?

Thanks,

Khaled

<<47a 47b 47c on 777>> Should be a bulkhead seat: https:/…Saudia_Boeing_777-300.php

<<51a 51b 51c on 787>> According to Seat Guru this is not a bulkhead seat.

Advice: If you also already called to Saudia and they confirmed to you that these seats are bulkhead seats, I would do the following: Write to Saudia. With this you should get a written answer.

Please be aware that on Saudia the seat allocation is more fluid, as you will have passenger who will refuse to sit close to an unrelated male traveller. Hence it is not unusual that there is a bit of a seat change going on before departure.

However, I would try to get a bulkhead seat as these are generally in high demand.

Will it fit a 9 month old baby? It should. There is a weight limit but with 9 month he/she should still fit.
