Superb place for meals and refreshments and a great place to start a walk from through the woods. Several walking routes most relatively easy. Plenty of parking.

A place I remember from my childhood. Still this environment has left from the old days of smuggling. The ' inn' is a nice stop during your walking through the woods. Basic German food, no frills but a nice atmosphere. The mill is still turning in the small river. And the altbier from the tap is refreshing as well.

Wonderful silent forest with old big trees. You can stop with your horses at the Dalheimer Muehle too and sit on the sunny terrace.
