We have been here in the past and enjoyed it so decided to have our anniversary lunch here. Good choice! Seated in garden/vineyard area which was perfect given location and weather. Great wine and food and very friendly team working.

Had a beautiful platter, nice ribs and outstanding chips together with excellent bottle of bubbly for lunch. Service excellent and prompt. A great spot.

We arrived here late in the day on a busy long weekend. We were offered tasting as soon as we arrived, and felt that we were centre of attention. The server was very attentive and informative. Loved the wines, great for a Chardonnay lover

Went on a voucher for a platter and a bottle of wine. Called to reserve beforehand and there was some confusion about the possibility of making a vegetarian platter. When we got there it took more explaining about what a vegetarian platter might look like. The platter its self was pretty average (if that). The staff in the kitchen should... More

Maybe I built this up in my head too much but for me there was nothing special or interesting. It's a typical vineyard setting with a coastal outlook but there were more detrimental features than good memories. The outdoor seating is poorly positioned with aview of an empty dry field behind a black shadecloth. The tables are on loose stones... More

Five of us enjoyed a beautiful platter of cheese, fruit, meat and vegetables on a balmy autumn day. The handcut part oven baked/ part fried potatoes were superb. We wished we had ordered another basket of those. And we washed our yummy food down with a bottle of the bubbles. There was time before the platter arrived to taste the... More

We stopped for lunch here after a gannet tour. I had been here 17 years ago and it was still lovely and the food was delicious. Most importantly, I think they make the best wine ever!

Clearview is one of our favourite Hawkes Bay lunch spots. It is very understated and unpretentious in it's atmosphere but with excellent service and food. It is very family friendly but we've never felt like we're dining in a creche (otherwise we wouldn't keep going back). It is out of the way so a sober driver or extra $ for... More

Had my 60th birthday surprise here today and my whole family turned up. The food and service was awesome and the special bottle of wine from Tim Turvey was the icing on a very special cake!
