Reviews looked good, but the pub has been taken over by new owners apparently. I ordered pie and mash for £11:95 and got a really small portion of both the pie and especially the mash. Though the pie was good and mash very average I...More

Gorgeous little pub, lovely wait staff and amazing food. Highly highly recommend. I had the sea bream with mussel velouté. Perfectly cooked.

£16.20 for 2 glasses of cheap bad wine! First and last visit I'm afraid. Get a quote before you order, or don't bother.

We had lunch here. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. Good service and great ales, but average food.

Pub was fully booked, but staff let us sit in the beer garden with blankets and put heaters on. Sunday lunch was about £15 each, slightly higher than average, but well worth the money.

A group of six of us turned up a day earlier than expected for dinner. After a moments hesitation the lovely staff laid a table and had us sat down with menu's before we noticed. The whole group loved the food!. The steak pie was...More

Yes I've seen well behaved dogs in the Bar area which is a stone floor with Open Fire but maybe just call ahead to check

The Swan is a family-friendly country pub with a modern face and a traditional heart. The smart, fresh interior complements the building's original character, while a large car park, pretty garden and children's play area add to the attractions outdoors. If you’re looking for a country pub between Bath and Bristol that’s just a short hop from either city, you can’t do better than The Swan. Sitting beneath the steeply sloping hills that run up to Lansdown, The Swan looks out at willow-edged fields with the River Avon meandering by in the distance. (We’re sure you get the idea, it really is a lovely spot!)
