We have always been to this restaurant every time we are in town. The staff and manager are very warm and welcoming and they have all of our favorite food in their menu. On Friday evenings, they have live band playing so that is definitely a plus.

It was very busy when I got there, and I ordered one of their fried rice, and it took nearly 30 minutes. The taste was not that good and the rice was very soft, was not like my expectation. I understood that the restaurant was busy but I don't think I wanna come back here.

Have always passed but never gone in. Well we did the other day. Wow... delish food and very cheap. Buffet $15 ... looked good. We had a soup which was jam packed with seafood and chicken and I finally had a murtanal which I love and have not had since KL in 1993. It as delicious. Will definitely go back... More

Looking for Halal restaurant outside of Perth City? Here is the best one. We had the buffet lunch on our way to Swan Valley. The prices are very reasonable. The taste of the food is just the food back home. There were plenty of choices with three types of rice (Nasi Lemak, Nasi Briyani, Plain Rice). They even have Acar-acar... More

The name Makan caught my eye on a number of travels down Albany Highway in Victoria Park and we ate there for the first time last night. A casual eatery with authentic tasting Malaysian food - not unlike what you would find in KL. I had the vegetarian murtabak with dhal - hot and tasty, and no complaints. An extensive... More

There's a lot of varieties and the food we had (mee goreng, nasi campur, mee bandung) was good with reasonable price. Parking is plenty at back of shop. Hot nescafe was great.

I go for the Lamb Soup and Plain Roti: The lamb soup is always very good. The Roti is a bit up and down. Sometimes its a little on the oily side. THe Roti comes with a very nice curry dipping sauce. The pair cost under AUD15. The service is OK. This is good value for money!
