Having asked in one of the ceramic shops up in the main road where we might find good food for a good price the owner got on the phone to da Filippo. Filippo's wife not only came to collect us from the shop but she and Filippo set about serving us a beautiful meal and for a great price. She... More

We love this chinese restaurant as there are always a lot of chinese people eating there and also obviously having their family reunions there. Therefore we find it very authentic, also the service is very friendly and reserving a table is no problem. Food is good and plenty. Only thing is: it doesn't come 100./. clean, sometimes the plates, glasses... More

Good service. Tasty food but small portion. Probably filling if you order antipasto, primo and secondi. About €10 per dish

We basically were lost and looking for another place when we stumbled into Da Filippo. A party of 8 loud Americans who were very skeptical about eating at a train station trattoria. We left with the best experience ever. Great food, service and hospitality. Free cordials at the end of the meal. Wonderful people. Do yourself a favor and make... More

We are a small party of 10, so its not always easy to find a table or agree on where to eat, but we did all agree that a train station restaurant might be an experience. It was! The food was tasty, and the house pasta was particularly good. It is a family run restaurant and they treat the guests... More

Visited the town on a day-trip by train from Cefalu. The journey was beautiful and whilst the town was quiet, peaceful and held some great views over the coast and mountains the highlight was the station restaurant. With an hour to spare we ordered two pasta dishes and the house wine. Both dishes were fabulous. Simple but imaginative food prepared... More

We were checking the train schedules and decided to stop in da Filippo's for a quick bite to eat. We were greeted by Mariella and Phillip who are two of the most wonderful people we met while vacationing in Sicily. The food is delizioso and prepared with skill. The flavors of Sicily were in each dish, the portions were large... More

Not quiet romantic (and no Pizza) but very kind staff and plain but well food. TV was on as in many restaurants.

We had a 12-day sailing/4-wheel/2-wheel trip around Sicily and Aeolian Islands in May 2013. Lost on the way somewhwere we ended up looking for a place to have a quick lunch outside the motorway cheesy Autogrills. Drove down the little town Santo Stefano di Camastra and following the advice of the locals arrived to the (completely deserted) train station which... More
