Popped into this restaurant with friends after a function and was amazed how busy it was. We have driven past it many times not realizing that it was a restaurant, not just a sports bar. The meals are very generous, tasty and the staff are very helpful. A great place to go when you have been out and about and... More

This is not fine dining, but good food, cooked well at a sensible price. We enjoyed duck breast and entrecôte followed by a good ice cream desert. Highly recommended.

What's the frill? It's a large place for a hearty family meal. Zero sophistication in the food. We were a large group, loads of burgers disappeared. Fish of the day looked ok. Steak ok too. Fries, to me, were soggy and overcooked...Steak Tartare was dry, and even if I'm not sure yet why I spent my Easter day on Immodium...I... More

We come here often and always have a pleasant experience. The burger is excellent value and the menu offers good local fare at reasonable prices. Recently had a refit which quite honestly hasn't added anything to the dining experience. Good local wines at reasonable prices, L'Ispiens does everything well without excelling in anything in particular. We like it because it... More

We were looking for some simple food well prepared and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed magnets and entrecôte washed down with some local gaillac wine. All delicious and cooked exactly as requested. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not intimate, but it is clean and well lit, the serving team were very good and we had a most enjoyable... More

Crammed masses more tables in and moved bar to near the entrance. Fairly grumpy rugby type lads on reception which goes with the place considering the patron's previous life. Open plan kitchen, harsh lighting, uncomfortable seating. Food is substantial with a decent wine list. As before it's not a bad place to go with a group of close friends. Atmosphere... More

About a month ago I wrote a review following a midday meal at this restaurant which was not bad so we thought we would try an evening meal. ERROR . We were relatively early dinners and the restaurant wasn't full by a long shot albeit during our "stay" it filled up completely so at the time of our food being... More

If you want superb atmosphere, pretty enviroment, class decor then this is not the place for you but if you want good food and you are hungry then book now and go - if you can get in. Excellent and value, particularly the lunch menu at 12.50 euro, Its modern, service somewhat dictated by the considerable number of eaters so between... More

Lunch is good value but extremely busy. Lively atmosphere in the evening with great variety on the menu and plenty of chef's specials too. The burger is a firm favourite along with the prawn brochette. Always had positive experiences and enjoyed our meals there. Great value for money. Not a Michelin type of gourmet affair but that isn't the market... More

Good for lunch, we admit. Order the burger and you won't go far wrong for the money. BUT we went on Friday night at 21.30 ish and it was busy, but the service was actively rude...we weren't even given the courtesy of being disrespectfully ignored. Food wise, 2 of us ordered from the specials menu....tuna. Now, if you can't ensure... More
