We visited bistro around 9:10pm and were informed that we actually need to have reservation in order to dine here, because august is the peak season and they are usually full the whole day in advance. However, we were really lucky because someone did not...show up on time (8:45pm) when they had reservation and awesome waiters allowed us to use the table that was reserved. The food was fine and the price is acutally the same as in other restaurants or lower for some dishes (70kn for adriatic squids is really cheap)
The only thing that was bad is the fact that the guy which made reservation actually took the table inside the restaurant, and it was really hot in there. Not sure if air conditioning was working or not.
Everything else is perfect.
I'll recommend this restaurant to my friends if they ever visit Malinska.More
The food is delicious, we had fresh fish, wine asortiman is amazing, service is very kind, espresso perfect which is very rare in Croatia 😉 The ambient is quiet and chill with excellent choice of music.
The title says it all, when I order tuna steak, I expect big at least 2 fingers thick blob of fresh tuna put to the grill and delivered to the table, and when I cut into it, I want to see blood, not slightly pink...from the inside, the same as with beef. Everyone who ever had frsh tuna can destingish between freshly cut and frozen "meat tablet", as I call it. So yeah, big dissapointment there, the rest was fine, perfect service, friendly staff, good side dishes, nice garnish but I literaly came there on a recommendation saying their tuna is delicious. Well, apparently not.More

first, thank you for your review,
We are really sorry that you weren't satisfied with our tuna, But the tuna is NOT FROZEN, if it was over cooked you should told us, our waiter asked you: is it everything good and you said...More
From the outside it doesn’t seem it is a place for fine dining, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff is very friendly, the ambient is pleasant and the food is top notch. We ate a fish platter that was more expensive than in other...places, but worth every penny. The vongole shellfish were the best we’ve tasted in our lives, the tuna was soft and the boiled potatoes perfect.
A warm recommendation to everyone because of the food, and the hosts won you over with details such as mosquito spray for the garden, hand cream in the toilet, deospray or women's supplies.More
