We were staying just down the street and stopped in our first night. Not crowded at first but it filled up quickly. Good selection of crepes and galettes. Staff speaks enough English and were helpful. Worth a stop in if in town or going to le mont st Michel.

Welcoming persons, they speak English too so no worries if you don't speak French. We had a good time there with the waiter who took care of us. The food was really excellent and the meat cooked according to our wishes. The ice cream is also really tasty, I don't know if it's home-made or not but it was excellent.... More

We found the food here just average. Staff were very friendly, however, they were run off their feet, as the restaurant was full.

We stayed in Pontorson for 2 nights last summer and after eating at Le Grillon on the first night went back on the second night because it was so good. I was looking forward to our first meal in France this year and got to the restaurant just after 7pm - only two tables occupied. We were asked, by a... More

Despite being quite crowded we had a delicious lunch here, very friendly staff, and the prices are very reasonable. Much better than what you get on Mont Saint Michel

Amongst three creperies within walking distance -this is the most popular. Slow to take order, but service is quick after ordering. Good quality.

Friendly staff, good service despite being busy, huge menu of delicious food including plenty of buckwheat crepes, with changes made to the savoury fillings for a vegetarian. Steak and chips apparently perfect. Make sure you book as were lucky to get in by going early in the evening.

Le Grillon is, I suppose, a typical small French restaurant, possibly able to be described as a bistro. Sadly, it has been a long time since I visited Le Grillon but that will not happen again; since I last was there the ownership has changes and thus the staff so we had no notion as to true quality which, previously,... Meal, atmosphere, and service are all great. Often you need to book. Every time I have been there it has been full of French people enjoying the food.

The food was good but the service was interesting. I can't speak French so when i asked for simple things like menu, water, bill etc i was ignored and had to repeat and get the waiter to come back. But it was a enjoyable evening and good value.
