Great value meal, €18.50 for 3 courses. The prawns were amazing and my partner enjoyed the pork. Would recommend as vale for money.

Had the set menu for two at 18.50 euros each, starters were an enormous bowl of musssels and giant prawns. Both were very good and well presented - and despite other reviewer we did get finger wipes! Mains were skate wing & pork chop, which my partner said was in the best sauce he'd ever tasted and the chop just... More

A sorting of previous reviews by date regardless of language, has the most recent reviewer advising of new management since 1 July. I can't confirm this is the case, but it makes sense as the reviews prior to July diners were so positive and our experience last night was absolutely terrible. The menu is broad and varied, and the place... More

Our B&B Villa Mons recommended this restaurant for dinner and we were very happy to be there. Excellent moules mariniere, fresh oysters, steak & chips, il floatten, calvados ice cream... We went on Ascension Thursday, a public holiday in France, and I don't know whether it was because of this or what, but the restaurant was full and started to... More

While the restaurant itself looks nice, and the staff is friendly enough, there's just a bit lacking from the food to make it nice enough for the birthday dinner we had planned.

We ended up one winter, several years ago, stranded in Northern France over the Christmas period and it was this hotel in which we found ourselves for Christmas lunch. The staff were terrific and the food was excellent. It’s a traditional family run business where they really make a huge effort for their customers. This Easter we stopped off briefly... More

Looking for dinner in this small town, look no further. You have most likely eaten better somewhere else, but if find yourself you here you'll find no better place for value and taste. A hard working staff will try to please. And try the fresh fresh oysters for a treat like non other.

Brilliant! A traditionally French and spotlessly clean hotel. Perfect for an overnight stay. The decor is dated and the rooms were very warm on the night we stayed but we were very happy with it. Great value for money, lovely breakfast. Pontorson is a charming town with a great market and plenty of places to eat at night. We stayed... More

This was a very average, low end hotel. It was clean but rooms and hallways small. I have a feeling that if you went up in price just a little, it would be a big improvement.
