Beloved and I popped in for a light lunch. He was surprised I had never been before. It is not what I expected. The surrounds are quite ordinary but the service is lovely. We decided on a seafood share plate which was delicious. We supplemented this with a serve of garlic bread and some chips. Everything was delicious and it... More

Went there for my daughters 18th, excellent food, service great, little on the expensive side but ok, good atmosphere. Haven't been here for about 20 years. Still good.

Popped into a very quiet Witch's Cauldron an a very rainy Saturday afternoon advertising outside a lunchtime special of just over $50 for 2 courses and just over $60 for 3 course. They sat our party of two in the window. We watched the shocking weather from a well heated dining room and was served by a very attentive waitress.... More

We went here on the Saturday 9th July for our wedding anniversary. The food was superb. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had an accident with a half full glass of wine (not drunk). The mess was cleared away really fast and the table was like new in a matter of seconds. Very impressed. My only complaint is... More

We have dined here on many occasions over the last 30 odd years. However, last visit a little disappointing. Portion of garlic prawns smaller, man sized rump smaller and a little tough. Waitstaff a little cavalier with their attitude.

I remember coming to this restaurant as a child with my parents. It was my favourite place. After 10 years I've returned, even after travelling abroad, I believe the best Garlic prawns in the world are served right here!!! My partner, who for some reason had never yet been ( a Victorian), agrees. We will both be back again. Thanks... More

We called in for lunch on a week day without a booking. The host was quickly able to find us a good table for two overlooking the main street and then followed up with water and a selection of menus. After a while she return to answer any questions that we had and take our orders. This set the tone... More

The restaurant has graced Subiaco 's main road for many years. It's garlic prawns and steaks were legendary. But sadly standards have slipped badly, we no longer visit.

The Witches Cauldron is an institution in Subiaco and still serves great food and wine. No trendy tapas here but beautiful meals cooked well and served with a smile on white linen tablecloths and napkins. The garlick prawns are still a must and our mouths watered as the aroma of roasted garlick whisked past on their way to other tables..

The food and service here were excellent. We snuck in for a very early service before it got busy and were impressed. Thanks a lot to the team for a very nice time and great food. Next time we will dine in the back in the lovely booths under the witches broomstick.
