If you find yourself on Koh Mak then be sure to eat here! Although the lovely owners very honestly admitted to not being able to provide everything on the menu due to it being low season, we were still provided with a thoroughly delicious meal at this unexpected little Swiss/Thai restaurant on this small island! The owners were extremely welcoming!

I saw this place on our previous visit. Wanted to try the schnitzel. It was amazing. How can they pull this off on this island. Been in way more modernized places around the globe that can't pull off what these guys and others on Koh Mak are able to do. The food was amazing, the service so very kind (specially... More

Seafood possibly be the one and only choice we choose when going to the beach, but not for this time. We spent a couple of nights in Koh Mak but were looking for something that was not seafood. Having checked the TA reviews, there are several choices to choose from Pizza, German and etc. but with the distance from our... More

We both had spaghetti dishes (bolognese and spaghetti swiss sawasdee) and they were excellent! The hosts were very friendly and organised our taxi for us at the end of the night.

We found this great restaurant, out side sitting in a garden atmosphere. The food was German style. We all order snatzel. Very tasty. The bread was wonderful, not sure what name was the wine but our server suggested it and it was a lovely red.

We've tried alot of restaurants on Koh Mak and we like Swiss sawadee alot. It's run by Marcus from Switzerland and his lovely wife, who we believe is the master chef. They're known to serve the best schnitzel on the island, and it was really tasty. On this night the cordon bleu was a bit dry though, which we pointed... More

Greetings from Kez and Molly. Some of our favourite dishes included an Australian steak, chicken fitness salad, The 'Swiss Sawadee' spaghetti and the Weiner schnitzel (definitely order the mushroom sauce with the schnitzels). Thanks Marcus and Wife, see you next year!

Great food from a couple of Thais that have spent over 30 years in Thailand. The wife (cook / front of house) is very funny and really gets involved with the customers.

We ate here our first night at Koh Mak and got some great Schnitzels and met the lovely owner. Our second day we ran out of money and since there are no atms on the Island we figured we should buy some noodles on the mart, but the lovely lady from Swiss Sawadee saw us and gave us some really... We visited Swiss Sawadee and the hospitality we received was lovely - genuinely nice people who live here. We had thai curries and they were nice but we had better on the island. Recommend the western food, wish we had tried it, looked great. Hope we get to go back to island to try again!
