We chose this restaurant because it heavily promoted Moules Frite as an option but they were unfortunately not available so selected steak with shallot sauce instead. This was OK but not as tender as we would have liked. However the staff were excellent and did everything they could to ensure that the meal went well. If in the area again... More

The restaurant is well located, in front of fisher´s harbour. Nice space with friendly waiters. Nice menu, splited by pizzas, daily dishes, shellfish and other choices. Good food, quick service. Very good relation quality-price.

After wandering around Avranches for an hour and not finding anywhere open to eat, we drove up to Granville and I recalled a harbour side area of restaurants when I had driven through the town 20 years ago - thankfully the place was rammed with places to eat and obviously very popular. We found a car parking spot and walked... More

Nice restaurant that was quiet on arrival but full by the time we left. We had a steak meal and a lasagne followed by desert each with Rose wine. The meal came to just under 50 euros which represented reasonable value for money, the chips with the meal and the presentation of the salad (lettuce) could be improved a lot,... More

Staff welcoming, friendly, sense of humour. Food was good but size of mussels a bit disappointing. Some of the mussels were very small. Everything would be almost perfect if these were bigger. Relaxing atmosphere. Very clean.

Perfectly adequate restaurant on the side of the port in Granville. You pay for the view, but the food was perfectly cooked and service good.

We went for our anniversary,at lunch time and had an excellent meal of moules and frites with blue cheese sauce. Reasonable value for eating by the Port and the puddings were excellent. Would go again

The meals ordered bordered on the average whilst the drinks prices were very high for what we got at least 700 per cent higher than the retail prices. The waitress was polite and efficient but was let down by offering stale bread and no hand wipes for us ordering shellfish.

We were on holiday on Granville last week. I shan't mention the place we ate on the first night because it the food was all wrong (although the staff were lovely). We took a long time deciding where to eat the next night - our French isn't great and I'm not too keen on seafood. We eventually decided on La... More

We stayed in Granville for a week and ate at La Bisquine on four occasions, mainly because once we'd found such a good place to eat, we didn't see the need to try anywhere else. The food was excellent, and reasonably priced, as was the wine. The owner/manageress was friendly and welcoming, and more than happy to help a struggling... More
