The service is better. Some staff can be downright rude but things better lately. Coffee is ok and the food is good and at times inventive.

Had a bunch of hot drinks and some muffins driving through from Dunedin, everything tasted really good and service was friendly. Would have preferred my Chai latte in a mug but I'll ask for that next time ;-)

We dined here twice and we would happily do I again. This smallish café is on the state highway leading to Queenstown and directly opposite the park containing the fascinating museum. Dining can be inside or out and on both occasions we found the café to be popular. The reasons are clear. Good coffee and some amazing food choices. The... More

Been there for a lunch after a long week of work, we discovered a small place with a respectable variety of meals, deserts and drinks. We both chose a sandwich which seemed classical but they surprised us with a nice way to present it. Chocolate milk shake was really worth the price. We wouldn't have put berries in the chocolate... Stopped here for a bite to eat whilst passing through and was not dissapointed. We both had the build your own sandwich option which was filling and tasty.

By sheer luck my husband and I decided to stop for lunch at The Tin Goose Cafe, Alexandra, NZ. Not only was there a wide selection of delicious food on offer, the coffee and service were great. I must also say that the premises were immaculately clean, fresh and comfortable. A great cafe that I would certainly go back to.

Situated across the road from the information centre and museum, this is a pleasant cafe to enjoy a lunch. There is a nice range of cabinet food including famous Mouse Traps! a southern special. We chose a pumpkin with cream cheese caramelized onion, tomato slice. This was delicious, thoroughly enjoyable. Service is excellent and is well worth stopping by.for a relaxing lunch

Called in for coffee, ended up with the brunch pie, salmon roulade and a smoothie too. Just a quick drop in but found nice cafe, quick friendly service and tasty food at a reasonable price
