We decided to drop in for dinner here after our coffee tour at Don Juan. We were so pleased we did. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Service was friendly and efficient! Pizza was delicious and the sizes very...generous! Can’t comment on the other food but our 2 children and ourselves would come back in a heart beat!! Thank you xxMore

Highly recommend going slightly out of downtown for this gem. A family-run restaurant with fresh traditional food or wood-fired food. We ordered the fried tilapia and the traditional dish with fish - both delicious. This place has something for everyone and the people are so...kind. Cannot recommend enough!More

We decided to try this place due to the closeness to our rental house, and also recommended by our hostess. It was some of the best food we have ever had. Our group got Chicken Nachos, Beef Nachos, Tilapia w/shrimp, and a Hawaiian Pizza (yes...pineapple does belong on pizza). We also got drinks, a craft beer, watermelon smoothie and also 4 craft beers to go. Our total bill was $34 USD, or if I was to forgo the 4 to go beers it was $24 USD. The nachos are a must have and we have never had nachos that were that good in the states. The service was fantastic and although we dont speak Spanish, and the waiter didnt speak good English, we had no problems ordering our food and drinks.More

Cozy place, great food and value for money! The attention of the people there is amazing, there's a guy named Oscar who can give you a lot of information about Monteverde

the food I do not like, the taste was bad, it did not look very good and it seemed that it was precooked, the customer service is regular, but I would not recommend it to any traveler

Great restaurant in small town. The pizza was amazing and the small dishes were superb. Highly recommended. And the prices were very reasonable. If youre in monteverde it's well worth the visit

Stopped in for lunch and ordered a chicken Casado. And then to make it a bit less “typical”, we also ordered chicken nuggets and fries and beef nachos! All was good but I have to say the amount of cheese on top of the nachos...was excessive! I did my best to push most of it to the side to try to get to the good stuff underneath. Service was very friendly and helpful. And very good value for the money.More

My husband has significant food allergies and reactions, therefore, finding a restaurant we can safely enjoy is extremely challenging. That being said, we found heaven at Nuestra Tradicion! Lots of food! Once he explained to the staff what he could and could not eat, they...were very accommodating, without hesitation or complaint of any sort. When they brought the food, it was hot, attractive, delicious, generous, and the best part it was right! We had rented an airnb so we ate at "home" mostly, but when we did return to Nuestra Tradicion, they not only remembered us, but remembered what we ate - exactly! It is a family owned and operated business, very clean, well laid out, friendly and accommodating, family restaurant, licensed, great selection of food, WiFi available, all at very reasonable price. We will go back if we're ever there again! (They can also make reservations for various activities in the area).More

nothing but cheese. Thanks for nothing. This is supposed to be a Margarita. I couldn’t even eat more than one bite. Looks like a bought pizza and not handmade.

After some months of traveling in Central America and a lot of rice/beans we wanted a pizza really badly. We found this place by chance. We ordered two medium pizza and they were delicious. We ordered two medium ones we couldn't finish and took almost...half of it home. Our waiter was super nice and offered us two choose two different toppings for each pizza since they are quite big. The price were reasonable. We paid about 20 USD for two big pizzas and drinks.More
