We ate breakfast and dinner here while staying at the Belmar. Both were amazing!! My husband had the French toast, which was made with banana bread. It was out of this world. For dinner, the tomato squash soup is fabulous. The beef tenderloin was the...best I’ve ever eaten. The service was great and the setting is beautiful.More

Fabulous sunset dinner on outdoor patio. The food and service were some of the best we’ve had in all of Costa Rica. We arrived at 5:30, before sunset to have a drink and enjoy the great panoramic views. The sunset and the dynamic colors in...the sky remained for 45 minutes, while we ate a delicious high-quality meal of some of the most professionally prepared and delivered food during our entire two week trip. It was my wife’s birthday and they provided a free dessert with a lit candle. We were very happy and I sincerely recommend Celejes to any serious foodies in the area.More

Original plan was to have breakfast daily (since it was included in our room rate) and dinner on arrival day after a long day of traveling so much. We ended including a couple of lunches as well and would have done more if our day-to-day...activities had permitted it. Each meal was delicious, well-thought out, creative, and an excellent representation of Costa Rica. They also have a very good wine list that offered lots of options and was well-priced and the cocktails from the bar were all delicious. Probably the ONLY thing I would suggest is if on the breakfast menu they could add an option that included some protein (I.e. bacon, sausage or ham). We did the Farm-toTable tour and it concluded with a private lunch in the onsite garden that MADE the tour. Additionally, we thoroughly enjoyed their Garden-To-Glass cocktail lesson - lots of fun and we learned some great ideas for adding herbs into cocktails.More

We had a wonderful dinner, well presented, great flavors and presentation. (Cheese platter followed by Vegetarian Curry and Pork with Tamarind Sauce... all highly recommended). Service is just OK. Staff was friendly, but not very attentive. Had to look for them a number of times...during our meal to get attention.More

Wonderful hotel in paradise! The service is superb, the restaurant staff were kind and attentive, and the food was always great! We were very pleased and would love to visit again soon. Monteverte cloud Forrest is simply amazing!

We had dinner at The restaurant with high expectations and were a bit underwhelmed by the food. Great settings and service but the food didn’t deliver (I had tuna tataki and octopus; my husband had steak tartare and pork belly - all average but the...pork belly). The dessert (banana cake) Made up for the rest though!More

We had a lovely table on the Verandah. The food was fresh and beautifully presented however not particularly flavorsome. We had a chocolate pudding which was very difficult to eat with only a spoon and not as special as it sounded. Very attentive staff though...service probably too quick.More

Every element of my dinner was perfect. Artisianal cocktails served with fresh flowers, excellent bread, herbed butter, very fresh and tasteful Caesar salad and chicken. Dessert was divine. All of the waitstaff were friendly, kind and thoughtful. The dining room is gorgeous. I spent about...$50 for cocktail, salad, entree and dessert which I felt was completely reasonable for a top notch farm to table meal presented with such grace.More

We stayed three nights in the Belmar hotel, and after eating lunch here on arrival, had no intention of eating anywhere else. We had three dinners and breakfasts, all were superb. Delicious fresh food, we saw the salads growing in the hotel garden, and very...pleasant and helpful staff. The amazing views to the coast were an added bonus. We definitely recommend this restaurant.More

We were looking for a nice quiet place close to downtown and we found this amazing place, with a deck at the restaurant with views to the pacific coast... Great service, friendly people and really good taste, we hope to visit this place once more...in a near future.More
