I was there 2 weeks ago with my Belgium family, stuff don’t speak English well so I was happy that my family was there😜
as for food, it was very delicious 😋 especially veal steak 🥩 was medium friend like I ordered (this should be normal but sometimes it isn’t 😉) ,they didn't have good mayonnaise for fries, but that's the detail. for dessert I took „moelleux au chocolat” How to translate it, I don’t know but I ate the same dessert in “Le chapeau blanc” and there was better (but more expensive it’s important to mention)
You can eat outside which is undoubtedly an advantage 👌🏻
At the end I generally recommend this restaurant, worth to check it

The reason I was pleasantly surprised is that I pass this restaurant twice a day, given that it is only 100 metres from my doorstep, and I had not been tempted to go inside. It seems to have changed hands not too long ago and our neighbours invited us to have a meal with them there. There is plenty of space to eat outdoors and the protective mobile coverings allow guests to have some sort of protection from wind, sun or rain. I had the lamb chops with fries and salad. They were deliciously grilled on what appears to be charcoal. I had some Roquefort sauce and this was also very good. As the prices are very democratic I think I will be going back on a regular basis to check out the other items on the menu.

I stopped by for a quick cuppa coffee at Brusilia Tavern. It was served with sugar, milk and a cookie (pictures attached), which cost a very-decent €1.90. I enjoyed two cups.
Outdoor seating is offered and card payments welcomed.

This is the kind of place where you can go in the early evening and stay until the morning when workers order their first coffee. It has a smoker room and a terrace for easy summer evenings.

Go here especially in summer: drinks on the sunny terrace and not expensive. + they have some good snacks for when you get a little hungry.
You can also have a full lunch/diner here and while the quality is quite good, the settings isn't quite right for dining. Don't get me wrong: it's cosy, staff is friendly but it's rather for drinks than for dinner. Unless you look for something a little cheaper and a quick bite.

Take a seat, at table service, pay at bar inside. Great Turkish coffee. Food served from lunchtime and evening. Nearby park and bus 59 & 66 route

This bistro has a wonderful pavement terrace that allows you to watch the world (and park) while having a beer and menu. The staff are very friendly and the menu is excellent value - 2 courses for about 17 - 18 euro. The food is relatively simple, but well cooked and they make some of the best chips in the area. The inside has less atmosphere - but the friendliness of the staff and the value for money makes it a firm favourite.

Leffe beer amongst others sold here.
Typical Belgium café menu but attentive friendly staff and the opportunity to sit outside in the summer to watch the world go by.

Terrible. What a scam. They made me pay €4.50 for a fresh mint tea even though on the menu it says €3.20.
