Dinner Sat night. Corkage was OTT ($25 per bottle). Menu was limited & uninteresting. Food was bland and all in all very over priced. Won't be back.

I lived in Bondi for a number of years and Sean's is at the bottom of my street. I went back for the first time in about 18 months and was not disappointed. Put simply the menu is outstanding. Fresh produce, cooked well but without any fuss. The staff are always attentive and friendly. The wine list changes regularly and... More

Sean's is everything great about living in Sydney. You have a view of Bondi beach, it's relaxed and welcoming while remaining professional, the food appears simple but is beautifully made by people that really know what they are doing, and it's good value - the individual dishes are quite expensive but they are substantial and unlike a lot of restaurants... Dinner for 4 tonight. The menu was so eckectic, fab & interesting ingredients. Very fresh & tasty. No hassle for our gluten free pregnant persons requests.... Very attentive staff, who explained the menu extremely well Only negative....starters rather expensive. Same price as a main, which was a bit ott.

I've eaten here 3 times over the years and each time it's been a little more underwhelming. The place itself is quaint and you even have a little journey to make to actually get to the restaurant itself, which is simply set out and has a great vibe, nice light, of course you've the beach over the road and it's... Had dinner last night and was disappointed. The food was incredibly overpriced. Soup which was very average was $28 for a gazpacho which had a few tomatoes thrown in and for mains a small piece of fish which was $45 and chicken which for some reason was also $45. The place was full but so noisy we couldn't hear each... More

A lovely meal, slow, leisurely and friendly service- perhaps a bit too slow, but food was lovely, some extraordinary. An interesting entrance (and exit) through the kitchen- the wind off the sea a bit too uncomfortable to open the front door. Every member of the party enjoyed their meal, with the exception of the homemade pasta, which was somewhat underdone... More

Sean's is a small but perfectly formed dining room on street opposite bondi beach. Nice atmosphere and pleasant service. It is the food that is the star here. I had the chicken dish of the day with corn and spicy salsa accompanied bulky delicious roast hasselback potatoes, beans and sugar peas - so moorish but v expensive at $45. Martin... More

Went with kids ... and they loved it too! Amazing menu - sophisticated and simple at the same time. Exquisite mixtures - the fish tarte with fennel - the duck liver roasted pink with berries..! The children had fish and loved the flavours! Would never have thought to find such a "tasters" restaurant at the seaside! Loved it! Friendly and... More

Farewell dinner, which we hoped would be really special. Menu interesting and different up on a boards and well explained. The restaurant was full and busy and consequently the service was slow. However most seemed to enjoy the food with a couple who were disappointed with tough meat and a follow up overnight with the chicken. It is different slightly... More
