Had lunch at the Cock n Bull in the Bistro last Saturday, the food was excellent had the spaghetti Bolognese it was scrumptious along with garlic bread. Price was good the ambience is great open fire, nice and cosy and staff very friendly. Great place to catch up with friends and have a nice chat and a few wines of... More

This is one of those pubs that is a little off the main track so generally doesn't pop up on people's radars (namely because most people who go to Bondi Junction generally pass through on their way to the beach). I found out about it through a little bit of research on the internet and I have to say that... More

This place for accommodation is disgusting, its a wonder health and safety doesn't shut it down, the stench almost made me puke. However i did get a full refund an hour after checking in, not that they could argue what the problem was lets be honest....

We revisited an old stamping ground for a drink one Thursday night. Never again. Dark, dingy, and full of very inebriated people. Not sure if the responsible service of alcohol is followed in this place. Needless to say - one drink and we were gone.

I used to come to this pub quite often as I lived in the area, and over the years it has gone down hill. Food is average with the vegetables tasting like over cooked frozen vegetables, desserts limited to chocolate or banana yuck to both. worst part is having to walk in through the smoking area to get to ge... I had a "Sirloin Steak/Chips/Saffron Rice", which all 3 were excellent top quality well valued priced evening meal. I was let down by the steam veggies. They were poor quality the vegies, like poor frozen-food quality. I accept Pub-food often has to use frozen veggies, but these veggies were either overcooked or just lacking freshness or just poor quality, I... More

I stayed here in December last year when visiting Sydney for a few days and it has to be the worst hostel I have ever been to. Seriously it was more tempting to sleep in the park under a tree. As soon as you walk into the hostel it looks like a dump. There is rubbish, clothes and even food... More

This hostel was one of the cheaper options in Bondi Junction, but I suggest forking out a little bit extra as this place was horrible! There were no sinks, the toilets smelt horrible, no toilet paper and doors slamming all night. As a party pub, the noise wasn't really the issue, it was the lack of any sort of hygiene... More

DO NOT STAY HERE! If you like being woken up by people fighting, arguing, playing music at all hours... OH! And don't forget the drug taking then definitely stay here!!!! I'm up for a laugh and a few drinks but when you have work / plans early the next morning and there's people 'stoating' about off their faces at 3... More

We were looking for a simple meal (lunch) and at 12.30 on a Wednesday the place was nearly dead despite the Pie and Beer deal for $15, and the reason I guess was the horrid smell. Something that is a cross between stale beer and urine. There is no sugar coating this place other than it is rammed at night,... More
