Hard to find a place like this. Large cafe with huge TV playing cartoons for kids. Food was a little slow to come out but expected as place was full. Great idea for young ones. Would recommend.

We went to this cafe because it was supposed to be child friendly (not for its food or coffee since they are not good either). NO, it wasn't. I'm perplexed to read the amazing reviews about this cafe. The coffee was ok, food was ok (egg and bacon wrap) but not amazing. Nice food, good coffee. Convenient for breakfasts and lunch. We've had coffees here a couple of times and it's very good. The eggs benedict is good, nice creamy sauce, not too buttery. Fried eggs in toast also good, can't go wrong with that but the sourdough was a nice addition. Overall a great little neighbourhood cafe.

As befits the electtorate with the most "liberal" views in Australia, Brunswick has a number of trendy cafes tucked down side streets amongst low-rise apartment complexes. Maxxii Moo is conveniently located opposite a playground so is very popular with the baby- & toddler-walking parents of the area. Toddlerchinos are a big hit here! Best to walk as parking is tight.... More
